Dennis Courtier of Pepin Heights Orchard, Lake City, MN. Courtier was an IDFTA Director and is arguably the largest grower of Honecyrisp in the Minnesota/Wisconsin region. After lunch, Courtier and his orchard staff introduced us to their unique views on growing and marketing Honeycrisp. Courtier fears overproduction and inferior fruit will ruin a run of $600/bin fruit local growers have enjoyed.
