Teryl Roper is a fruit researcher and Extension specialist at the Univeristy of Wisconsin. Roper is also a cooperator in the NC-140 Regional Rootstock Research Project. (Despite his recent reassignment to the Wisconsin cranberry industry.) Here, he admires a super-spindle apple tree in Bruce Currie's orchard -- we think Bruce should hire him to pick as his height is clearly an advantage in these trees!
